Since 1992, we have been passionately loving people, pursuing God, and leading churches. We are delighted to be a part of Calvary Assembly of God and work together to make a difference as a Pentecostal family ministering to families. Our hearts’ cry is to love the people of Sioux Falls. I, Todd, am an avid hunter and baseball fan. My wife, Goldie, is a teacher with a heart for children. Welcome to Calvary! We are glad you are here!

Jay & Kaitlin Smeby

Jay grew up in northern Minnesota and was raised with small town values. His favorite days were spent with his grandpa on the family farm. Jay grew in his faith in Jesus Christ as he decided that loving others was the greatest gift that Christ commissioned us for. Many years later, Jay served for six years in the U.S. Air force, and then left the military to pursue his education. After receiving his bachelor's degree, Jay met his wife Kaitlin, and began attending Journey Church. Now he is working on becoming a certified pastor and is passionate about working with our children.

Jay is working to help ensure that children understand the Bible (God's Holy Word), the unending love of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and their identity as children of the Most High King of Kings!
