Welcome to Calvary Assembly of God!

Who We are:

At Calvary Assembly, the church is far beyond what we do—it’s who we are. It happens seven days a week in all kinds of different ways with all kinds of different people. It’s life. And we’d love for you to live it with us.

Where we come from:

Calvary was first known as Church of the Bible when it started back in 1942. The church has been through many changes but has held to their beliefs. Calvary has always had a heart to reach out beyond the walls of the church. We still believe that today.

Where we’re headed:

What's the bottom line? More than ever, Calvary is committed to taking the church beyond the walls. We will be unashamedly pentecostal. We will be families ministering to families. And we will be making a difference in our community and surrounding area by showing the love and hope of Jesus Christ.

What this means for you:

What does this mean for you? Most importantly, you’re always welcome at Calvary. We’re saving a seat for you. Wherever you’re at in your faith journey, you’ll always be accepted as part of the Calvary family.

Getting To Know Each Other

We know meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating, and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. We want to help make your first experience at Calvary a great one!

What Can I Expect?

HOW LONG IS CALVARY’S SERVICE?

In total, a Sunday service at Calvary is about 90 minutes in length. Services begin with a time of worship, led by the Calvary worship team. During this time, song lyrics are projected onto the screens and guests are invited to sing along and/or engage in worship however they feel most comfortable. Following worship, an encouraging and hope-filled message from the Bible is shared by Pastor Todd.

WHAT IS THE CULTURE LIKE AT CALVARY?

Sundays at Calvary are exciting, casual, and relaxed. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest.

WHAT WILL MY KIDS DO AT CALVARY?

At Calvary, there are opportunities for kids and adults alike. Children are always welcome in the main service, Kids ministry has bags available for kids during service. Nursery is available upon request. Calvary holds a strong belief that kids should have fun learning and growing in their relationship with Jesus. Family Services are scheduled into the Calvary calendar as well in order to provide regular opportunities for families to worship and learn together.
Safety is a top priority in Calvary Kids and all adult Team members have received background checks. Each child must be checked in to his/her respective program by a parent/guardian at the start of the service. First-time guests should plan for an extra five minutes to check in their child(ren) and meet the Calvary Kids Team.
